As our society grows and ages, it is important that we continue to attract and inspire young people into these professions in the years to come. Passionate, energetic and ambitious people who will help drive the healthcare system forward and ensure the best possible care for patients.
Launching on 2 November 2022, the healthcareers.lu campaign aims to highlight the diversity and complexity of these professions, raise the profile of the sector and inspire people, particularly young people, to consider this career path.
The first series of 12 video testimonials focuses on nursing, care assistants and midwifery. A second series is being prepared to cover the other health professions regulated by the GDL and the medical professions.
The testimonials will be published on a dedicated website in 3 languages, with job descriptions and a blog. Several waves of communication are planned, particularly on social networks to reach a young audience.
The Healthcareers.lu platform was launched by the Ministry of Health. This initiative, developed in close collaboration with health care stakeholders, is supported by the Ministry of the Family, Integration and the Greater Region, the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
