From Sunday 20 June, anyone older than 6 years of age with a national identification number ("matricule") will be able to make an appointment directly via covidtesting.lu for a PCR test as part of the Large Scale Testing.

During the week from 7 to 13 June and for the 11th week in a row, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 continued to decrease from 324 to 189 (-41.6%), while the number of their identified close contacts also decreased from 908 cases the previous week to 742 (-18.2%).

During the week from 31 May to 6 June, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 continued to decrease for the 10th week in a row from 354 to 324 (-8.5%), while the number of their identified close contacts increased from 766 cases the previous week to 908 (+18.5%).

On 1 and 2 June 2021, a vaccination session was organised for homeless people at the "Wanteraktioun" premises.

During the week from 24 to 30 May, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 decreased again from 495 to 354 (-28.5%), while the number of their identified close contacts also decreased from 1,757 cases the previous week to 1,298 (-40.6%).

The Ministry of Health and the Health Directorate would like to clarify some of the information that has been disseminated in recent days via social networks and the press concerning tests before events with more than 150 participants.

During the week from 17 to 23 May and for the 4th week in a row, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 continued to decrease from 728 to 495 (-35.0%), while the number of their identified close contacts also decreased from 1,757 cases the previous week to 1,298 (-26.1%).

During the week from 10 to 16 May and for the 3rd week in a row, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 continued to decrease from 936 to 759 (-19.0%), while the number of their identified close contacts also decreased from 2,423 cases the previous week to 1,757 (-27.5%).

In addition to PCR tests carried out by medical laboratories on prescription or via Large Scale Testing and rapid antigen tests carried out by health professionals, the government's testing strategy also includes the extensive distribution of rapid antigen self-tests.

In view of the development of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus at the international level, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Health would like to inform of the extension of the sanitary measures applicable for all air travel to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

During the week from 3 to 9 May, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 decreased again from 1,119 to 936 (-16.4%), while the number of their identified close contacts also decreased from 2,967 cases the previous week to 2,423 (-18.4%).

From 12 May, rapid antigen tests (RATs) by nose swab, as well as self-tests, can be performed and certified in the first pharmacies. All participating pharmacies will offer this service from Monday 17 May. The test result can be obtained in less than 30 minutes.

During the week from 26 April to 2 May, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 continued to decrease slightly from 1,231 to 1,119 (-9%), while the number of their identified close contacts increased from 2,517 cases the previous week to 2,967 (+18%).

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Health wish to inform of the new additional health measures applicable from 1 May 2021 until 15 May 2021 inclusive, for all travel from India to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

As announced after the Government Council of 21 April, a waiting list has been set up in order to benefit from the remaining doses of coronavirus vaccine.
