IMPF'O' DAY − "Lët'z talk about vaccination": conference-debates on vaccination against COVID-19 at the "Athénée"

As part of the Vaccination Week (Impfwoch), the Ministry of Health will organise the IMPF'O'DAY on Saturday 11 December at the "Athénée de Luxembourg".

IMPF'O'DAY consists of two conference-debates, in person and remotely (online), bringing together various health experts debating the topic of vaccination against COVID-19 and answering questions from the public.

The participation at the conferences is free of charge.

Both conferences will be opened by the Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert.

Morning: conference-debate for the health sector

The conference, which will take place from 10am to 12pm, is aimed at people working in the health sector and will include the following experts: Dr Isabel De La Fuente Garcia, Dr Thomas Dentzer, Christophe Dohm (nurse), Dr Claude Muller, Dr Jean-Claude Schmit and Dr Gérard Schockmel.

Participation (in person or remotely) will be by invitation only.

Afternoon: conference-debate for the general public

The conference from 1 to 2.30pm will be aimed at the general public. The invited experts will be: Dr Charles Benoy, Dr Isabel De La Fuente Garcia, Dr Thomas Dentzer, Dr Claude Muller, Dr Jean-Claude Schmit, Dr Gérard Schockmel and Annick Schons (nurse).

The introductory speeches will be in Luxembourgish, but the experts will answer questions from the public in 5 languages (French, German, Luxembourgish, English and Portuguese).

  • The conferences on site will be held under the CovidCheck (3G) system.

Information booths

From 1pm to 5pm, information booths will be set up at the entrance of the "Athénée", where experts will answer all questions about the coronavirus. The visit of the booths can be done without CovidCheck, but with the respect of the sanitary rules in force (wearing a mask and a minimum physical distance of 2 meters).
